Pre-Launch Information
Data Disclaimer
Who we are. Geldart Wealth ("we", "us", "our") is the controller of the personal data described in this notice.
What this notice covers. As we are not yet trading, we collect personal data only from people who contact us through this website, mainly candidates interested in joining our team. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect. We may collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, CV, work history, qualifications, and anything else you include in your message. We may also collect limited technical information when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through cookies/analytics tools. We do not intentionally collect special category data (such as health, ethnicity, or religious beliefs), so please don't include it unless it's necessary.
How and why we use it. We use your information to respond to your enquiry, assess your suitability for current or future roles, communicate with you about the recruitment process, and maintain and improve our website. Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in recruiting for and building our business, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and, where required (for example, for non-essential cookies), your consent.
Who we share it with. We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate, such as our email, hosting, and recruitment software providers, who may only use it on our instructions. We may also disclose it where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it. We keep candidate information for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or you join us, in which case it becomes part of your staff record. Other enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
How we protect it. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. No online transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights. You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. You also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.
Changes to this notice. We may update this notice, particularly when we launch our services and begin working with clients. The latest version will always be on this page.
